These giclee (prounced: "zhee-clay") prints are very high resolution scans of original artworks printed on a large format ink-jet printer that sprays archival-quality inks onto the surface of archival-quality watercolor paper. The giclee print looks and feels like an original watercolor painting because this technology produces prints with rich colors and an extremely high level of detail. The artist oversees the color-matching of the proof against the original to ensure that a good reproduction is produced.
